If black isn't the default background, only pink is the other option
for default color! (Sorry, just had to say it)

Great!

I think that your original UNIX "Stealth" mode was good at the time,
and for many cases still is a good principle, but when you want to be
more userfriendly you have to compromise on it. Such is life.
