I would probably be pretty hard to get a demo of the tools - Mentor will
want to know lots of details about your potential use, number of seats,
etc...

Your page says you are studying at the University of Bristol - perhaps
they have the Mentor software or can get it.  Mentor has a strong
university licensing program that lets schools get the software cheap
(or maybe even free).
