The non-ability to have text in footprints is a known non-feature. And yes, it is on my wish list, too ;-) pstoedit can convert postscript to pcb format. This is, what I would try: 1) Write the desired text in inkscape 2) Save as encapsulated postscript (epsi) with text converted to paths 3) Convert to pcb format with pstoedit 4) Import to pcb via "load-layout-data-to-paste-buffer" Hope, this helps, ---<(kaimartin)>--- -- Kai-Martin Knaak tel: +49-511-762-2895 Universität Hannover, Inst. für Quantenoptik fax: +49-511-762-2211 Welfengarten 1, 30167 Hannover http://www.iqo.uni-hannover.de GPG key: http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?search=Knaak+kmk&op=get _______________________________________________ geda-user mailing list [email protected] http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-user
