> The pads are most likely 9 mils apart instead of 10 mils. You have 11 mil pads on (usually) 20 mil centers, so yes, the gap is 9 mils. Most fabs offer 8/8 rules or better (the ones I use are 6/6) so you should be able to work with this anyway.
