I am using GNU R for simple tasks like computing packetloss and SNR: http://ronja.twibright.com/msmt/ber.ps Using such a capable tool I can then afford much more interesting analyses than just stupid computation of SNR and BER. Free software taught me wasting software like Madonna wastes money. When I got plenty of it, why not? :) With free software I am already a millionaire and don't even need the money for it :) Cl<
