Heh. Make sure you don't mention that to any NeXT people... OS X evolved from NeXTStep, which took well over two years to develop. That's not to say there wasn't a lot of improvement to OS X's BSD underpinnings (such as a lot of the FreeBSD code that was brought in). But it's probably not the best example for long-term sustainability arguments.
