That's very strange; unstable should have been updated to 2.0-something.

Actually, it's even worse than that. You see, I put the unstable/main and unstable/crypto into my fink.conf at the Trees: line as you wrote in your tutorial. Fink updated the bison .info file and next installed a version 1.85. I did not see mention of this in the fink sourceforge web database. I saw that OSX 10.3 had in the unstable the 2.1. Next, I modified the bison.info to use the correct version number and I put in also the new MD5 value.

Also, I tried and failed to sudo make iverilog. This is where the
compiler stopped

make[1]: *** No rule to make target `../vvp/libvpi.a', needed by
`cadpli.vpl'.  Stop.
make: *** [all] Error 2

Please compress the whole build log and send it to me. (If it might
help someone else, I'll post the relevant portions.)
