Make sure that you have register_globals turned on. You can check to
see the value of register_globals by creating a small php script like
the following:

The last sentence is a link back to the administration screen. Any ideas
where I went wrong?
Are you logged in as the Admin (root user) or as a "normal" Story Admin
user?
In the latter case, please check your topic permissions carefully. You
need to have proper access to the topic before you can post stories under
it. Recent versions or Geeklog are somewhat more picky with regards to
topic permissions.
