I hate Windows, I'm a Mac OS X and SUSE Linux user.. I just have to use
Windows at work as I have NO option..
If it comes to having to do it with Windows I'll do it with Solaris and
if I can't with Solaris I'll convert my tables to text, strip the HTML
and do it with pure SQL..
I would rather give up computing that to have to tinker with Windows!

How about installing Apache for Windows? Even IIS should work.
Many people are running Geeklog on Windows, but AFAIK, you don't need
Cygwin to do that. There are a lot of pre-configured Windows/Apache/
MySQL/PHP packages around, just search for "WAMP".
