No special X config that I can think of.  An nvidia card.  I've been
using nvidia's drivers for a long time.  Single monitor.  The alpha
packages worked fine on the same hardware, beta1 doesn't.  I've only
ever used Fedora packages.  I used F10+beta1 for awhile, which didn't
work, and I think after installing F11 I went back to alpha3 for
awhile (long story) where it worked again, so it didn't seem like
anything specific to F11.  (I hope that was clear....)
