I have been a long time user of GQview and switched to GeeQie about a year ago, great stuff Guys, it looks like you are working really hard on it I look forward to watching GeeQie develop.
Now my point, when performing file operations from within GeeQie e.g. moving or deleting a large number of images (a few 100s) things get very slow taking 100% processor. As the number of images remaining to be operated on gets smaller things speed up. It is as if the operation is performed on only 1 image at a time and after each operation the list of remaining images is re-created. I have no idea if this is what is really happening, only that this is what seems to happen in use. I don't recall these operations being so slow on GQview, any thoughts? My system is Ubuntu 9.04 on Athlon 2600 + 512MB RAM Stair ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Are you an open source citizen?
