I was interested in which alternatives there are for linux, and compiled a 
small table sheet which reflects my personal needs. (attached)

As you can see, geeqie has still more important features than any other viewer. 
In fact it has any important feature i need, except for that custom commands 
are not implemented.

Since this is a crucial point, for me, the research result is that there is 
just no satisfying image viewer in linux, recently. I'm amazed but all the 
availabe choices do not cover professional requirements. But as i said, geeqie 
is very close to it, and that's why engage in sucking you :)

The real option would be to switch to windows, and although i was close to this 
move pretty  often (i'm also doing video and sound mixing) i always could find 
a way around problems. Well, in most cases it was around custom python or shell 
plugins...

Anyway. As it seems that you are not interested in dialog, i will not longer 
bother you. But i will stay with geeqie as long as there's nothing better.
