He gave advice to HK people not to do politics but to do business instead (2:57-10:50). In this 8-minute segment he explained (paraphrasing) China would not allow HK to follow the examples of Middle East’s “color revolutions” and become a Trojan horse to induce similar political changes in other parts of China. He said this in 2015,* before* HK uprising in 2019. China give HK the freedom to grow, even doing business in the mainland.
