If you said “how much richer is the _AVERAGE_ Chinese Indonesians” compared to the “Regular” ones, I’d say, we’re all the same. Rich Chinese-Indonesians are more _visible_ because they live in the big cities and many has gone abroad. But so does the non-chinese Indonesians. And there are LOTS of poor chinese-Indonesians too. In the capital, behind the tall buildings, there are poor people’s housing complex and many amongst the are Chinese Indonesians. And in the suburban areas around Jakarta too. No different with native Indonesians. Many are fabulously wealthy, but there are still many of the poor among them. I have friends in both communities (rich Chindos & poor Chindos) so I won’t believe any propagandas by anybody saying that all Chindos are rich. Some are poor. 10.1K views View Upvoters View Sharers
