But I tried without the reset and the framerate goes between 20 and 50 !
i will investigate more further.
did you render anything at this time?

Thanx John,

I put 'wmctrl' on the back burner to use it if i can't resolve my problem. But Devilspie seems to be more simpler. I will give it a try. Thanx for the info.
