What should be the interpretation for the option maxtick when restoring from a
checkpoint? Assume maxtick = 1000, and the checkpoint was taken at 100.
(a) the maximum tick till which the simulation should run, irrespective of the
tick value when the checkpoint was taken. This means the simulation would run
till the time reaches 1000 ticks.
(b) the additional ticks for which the simulation should run. This means the
simulation will run till the time reaches 1100 ticks.
I am inclined towards (b), but currently (a) is the one in use.
