Hi Anastasia, 

Thanks for the patches. I'm not sure exactly what we want to do with them 
because this changes the configuration register. I think it's certainly useful 
for people who want to use >4 cores, but if you need a special kernel as well 
I'm torn as to if we want to commit it. If you have any thoughts please let us 
know.
