The following two changesets added voltage and clock period to the
stats.txt.

I am not convinced with the following reasoning given in log message for
9d6d630f830e: "This patch adds observability to the clock period of the
clock domains by including it as a stat."
The clock period and voltage are part of the config.ini file and that
should be enough. Why treat these parameters differently?
