Hi,

I was creating a new image for armv7. I used the disk image creator script in utils/ and copied the ubuntu12.04 base file system provided by onto it (specifically this file system - ubuntu-core-12.04.5-core-armhf.tar.gz). I followed the instructions at http://www.m5sim.org/Ubuntu_Disk_Image_for_ARM_Full_System to create a bootable image.

I tried running a full system simulation using vmlinux.aarch32.ll_20131205.0-gem5. (Kernel image provided in the latest disk and binary files released for arm). But my boot process hangs after running for some time, specifically after

NET: Registered protocol family 17

Freeing unused kernel memory: 292K (806aa000 - 806f3000)

mount: proc already mounted

Am I using the wrong kernel? Or is there something wrong with the disk image?

Regards,
Urmish
