Subject: Re: [gem5-dev] VMs in ARM FS Simulation

Hi Yasir,

The KVM CPU uses virtualisation on the host to accelerate the guest. To
simulate a system with multiple virtual machines, you'll need support for
virtualisation in the simualted ARM CPU in gem5. This is currently not
supported. However, one of my colleagues has posted a series of patches (they
are on ReviewBoard) that add some of the features needed for virtualisation in
gem5. You could use them as a starting point if you want to implement it
yourself.

Cheers,
Andreas
