Moving this off gerrit so it's publicly visible.

One problem is that the wiki isn't very easy to use. There's a lot of good
documentation there, but it's hard to find and many people miss it. Part of
the problem is probably bad SEO making it hard for Google to return good
results (if only we knew someone on this inside ;)).

How do people feel about the idea of having a new googlesource "project"
titled "gem5 utilities" that contains repos like this one. Then, we can
prominently point to that project. (I think) We could set it up so that
Eder is the maintainer for that project and has control over others
submitting as well.

I wouldn't mind seeing some of the other stuff in util/ moved out of the
main gem5 repo into some other place as well.

Are there other suggestions? We could leverage our github group as well for
this, if we want to split things between googlesource and github.
