Hey,

by the way, when we talk about protobuf, I recently found this:

        https://capnproto.org

Its claimed, that capnproto is faster than protobuf,
However, I cannot confirm that because I have not tried it.

Has somebody else experience with capnproto?

Best,
Matthias
