as you can see by my latest pushed commit: https://gem5-review.googlesource.com/c/public/gem5/+/11729 ucontext functions have been deprecated since macOS 10.6. In order to make it possible to build gem5 on mac, I have defined the _XOPEN_SOURCE macro which marks the deprecated functions as visible. At the moment _XOPEN_SOURCE has been locally defined in the fiber header file only. I was wondering whether we should actually define it globally in SCons so that we globally make use of the SUSv3 standard. What is your opinion on this?
