No. I'll get his stuff into my patch queue today and see how it goes.

Yeah, I've been worrying about my patches lately.  If I get his in my
queue, they'll get more important.

Yes.  Things looked good to me.  I also sent a request for permission
to work on the stuff, we'll see how long that takes.
