I want to run my own modified version of a Linux kernel (x86) on the gem5. Currently, the kernel configuration file that is distributed from gem5 website is for 2.6.28-4. However I use a 2.6.31 kernel. I was wondering whether there are any specific kernel compilation flags that I should turn on/off while compiling to allow my kernel to run properly on the gem5 (x86).
