You should be able to change things around and have it still work, but
be careful with hardware dependent options like new CPU features since
they may not be implemented. If you start with the configuration we
provide and just updated it to 2.6.31 it will most likely work, and then
you can expand out from there. Don't expect not to hit *any* problems,
but if you do find some I don't expect it to be very many.
