That's great to know and I'm sure will help a lot of people out. If you
really need debug info, you might want to use gem5.debug anyway. It's
slower, but it has the debug info and may be easier on gcc since it
wouldn't try to optimize as much. As a disclaimer I've never actually
compared build time memory usage between gem5.debug and gem5.opt, though.
