Yes, it is possible to do so. As I said before, you would need to set the topology correctly.
In the old version of GEMS (1.4) the CMP-NUCA was nicely implemented, were there any efforts to adapt that to GEM5 ?
I am not aware of any such efforts. But if you have access to the GEMS implementation of NUCA, it should not be too hard to make it work with gem5.
