Should there be any problem with running a large number of instances of gem5 out of the same gem5/ folder (also using the same checkpoint, .img file, kernel, and etc) and just varying the CPU parameters (i.e. cache size(s), cpu freq, etc) and changing the output directories?
>From my understanding, everything is essentially read-only, no? I ask because I'm currently trying this and it's running into more errors than when I used to replicate everything so there was one set of everything for each simulation and it's much much more practical to have one folder than the >500 I would need to make it like I used to. By the way, I'm sorry if I've been annoying anyone by submitting too much to the mailing list lately.
