Hi Gabriel,
I have 4 patches in the gem5 review board. You can apply them if you want a cache bank model (classic cache model only, not ruby). I would rather argue that it only supports "infinite" bank caches as it does not model the contention to the RAMs. Andreas From: Amin Farmahini <amin...@gmail.com> Reply-To: gem5 users mailing list <gem5-users@gem5.org> Date: Friday, 14 June 2013 06:23 To: gem5 users mailing list <gem5-users@gem5.org> Subject: Re: [gem5-users] Default Cache Memory Bank Configuration? Classic model does not support multi-bank caches. I don't know about Ruby. Is each the L1d, L1i and L2 cache a single memory bank by default? I've looked through the gem5/ directory but couldn't find any mention of bank configurations except for specific memory protocols or for DRAM. And couldn't find any mention of this elsewhere.
