I also find the same issue when I run the SPEC 2006 benchmarks. I am using 
the X86 detailed model and statically linked binaries. I tried both the SSE2 
as well as non-SSE2 compiled binaries on the corresponding gem5 versions. 
However the results seem to be the same. Any updates on this would be very 
helpful.
