The checkpoint has been created after the binary has been run. The
current processor and memory state of the benchmark loaded and executing
is saved in the checkpoint.

restore from a checkpoint, we use a command like this:

not involve the runscript (.rcS script) we use to take the checkpoint. I
am taking the checkpoint upon entry to ROI (during benchmark execution).
How does the simulator know which benchmark binary to run with which
options/inputs etc. in this case? Is it stored somehow in the checkpoint
directory? It may be a very simple question, but I want to be sure that
I am not doing something meaningless.
