Thanks Paul. I figured out that all the addresses > ffff800000000000 are kernel space addresses in 64 bit OS. Do you know how the segmentation is currently being done by gem5 x86 in full system mode. How the virtual address from OS/application is changed in linear address by gem5 x86 segmentation? Is it done for each virtual address?
