Hello all,

This post is not at all meant to discuss git or mercurial and their
relative merits or to turn into a flame war. This is a purely pragmatic
question.

I use git all the time and I'm very comfortable with it -- the hg+queues
workflow just requires a lot of cognitive load for me and I'd just prefer
to use the tools that I already know.

I noticed on the review board that some developers appear to be using git
(Andreas S, I'm looking at you). Is the right thing to do just to clone the
uart-mirror ( https://github.com/uart/gem5-mirror ) and work on that? Is
the process of submitting patches to the reviewboard made more cumbersome
by using the github mirror?

Or should I go the hg-remote-git route? Are there any other details/options
I should consider?

Thanks,
Paul
