The first warning is not related to the others.
The warning around 8192 MB is because the default DRAM controller config is a
single channel, dual rank, with 8 x8 4 Gbit devices (amounting to 1 x 2 x 8 x
512 MB). This is different from the physical memory specific on the command
line (or default, of 512 MB) as seen by the OS. Note that this only really
starts to matter if you care about DRAM power modelling.
When it comes to the other issues that sounds more alarming. Perhaps it is
worth reposing with some more details.

Hello,
im running gem5 on my laptop. Today I wanted to install it on my home PC with
the same settings.
At execution I get:
"warn: DRAM device capacity (8192 MB) does not match the adrdress range
assigned (512 MB)
In the options.py the standart memory is defined with 512 MB, but where comes
the DRAM device capacity comes from ? :) and how can I overcome this warning ?
The second warning is related to the first:
"warn: Adress 0xfffffc0 is outside of physical memory, stopping fetch.
I think those warnings brings me also some pagefault stats at the end of the
output.
I dont unterstand what i am missing :)
