Hi andreas,
I mean what I am trying to do is make gem5 as a part of my tool. To do that
I was trying to use the gem5.debug binary. But when I copy gem5.debug
binary in my tool folder (where I have my other project files) then the
binary doesn't runs.

Is there any other way to merge gem5 in our own tool?

I don't want the user who wants to use my tool to go through the trouble of
installing gem5 and getting some results from there and then feeding it to
my tool. So I want to include gem5 in my tool. But I can't get the
gem5.debug binary run in any other location except inside gem5-stable.

Is there a better way to do this? Or is the compiled binary gem5.debug has
location dependencies? If so then how can I build the gem5.debug binary
without the location dependencies.

Appreciate your response.
