Hi,

I suspect you are running in atomic mode. Make sure you are using the O3Cpu or
MinorCpu.

Subject: [gem5-users] DRAM usage monitoring in gem5

Hi all,

I'm about to run my benchmarks on gem5 so i can monitor their dram interactions
and more importantly their dram power usage (and as we know there's DRAMPower
integrated with gem5).
when i run them on SE mode, i got this error :

fatal: syscall set_tid_address (#256) unimplemented.

which seems to mean i should change to FS mode.
but in FS mode (ARM arch), problems are much more complicated. after checking
and setting all config files to use DDR3 as memory type, i came to this result
that in stats.txt file all statistics related to DRAM usage are 0; including
its read/write rate, bandwidth or even its average power.

Is there any suggested sulotions?

Best Regards
