This Early review finds the document is clear and comprehensive, except for the points below. The text is on the right track. As my familiarity with RDAP and JSON is dated, I have 3 suggestions and 1 question . 1) Split section 7.2 into pieces similar to : 7.2.1 - Registration procedures, 7.2.2 - Expert review The split will help the expert review process by clearly defining registration and expert review separately. 2) Section 7.2 paragraph 5, starting with "all registrations SHOULD" Do you want to state this as a registration requirement, or as an instruction to the expert as "latitude" accepted by this document? It is rather unclear. At the very least, make it clear whether it is a requirement or a suggestion for the expert reviewer. 3) Multiple experts reviewing the document Without at least 2 experts, this may become difficult for IANA to manage. I assume that the 4) How does the TLD list get expanded? I'm a little unclear on this point. Is it by expert review, IETF review or something else? Did I miss this or misunderstand the text? If I have, just kindly let me know. Suggestion: It seems like text on redirect and security repeats several time. Have one of the authors look toward reducing the repetition. _______________________________________________ Gen-art mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected]
