The one thing I know Comcast IS monitoring (inside source) is for
torrents. They are scaling back the bandwidth of those who engage in p2p
torrent sharing. I've been using cable for almost 5 years now 24k 32k
56k 64k 96k & now 128k....(singularily)and that's small change compared
to torrent users of 200k upstream and higher depending on what they have
to offer.
