Hi, When the queue is not set to keep at least one song in the queue, SAM will go ahead and select the next song to play behind the scenes. This allows for quicker response at the end of tracks as selecting songs can be a very CPU intensive task ... and doing all that work at the moment songs needs to cross-fade isn't always the best.
It is recommended to keep the GhostQueue enabled, unless you directly change the Queue via SQL.
