Thomas.When you purchased SAM we tols you that is a new version came out within 30 days of purchase you would be able to upgrade for free.
SAM4 came out more than 30 days after you purchased it, there was no wiggle room there, 30 days free, 31 days 50 USD. As for the licensing. You have it correct, 1 copy for your main broadcast, 1 copy for backup. When you contacted us and said you needed a copy on your rig as well, the only option was a DJ seat, this would fulfill the licensing requirements for the main and backup, and allow you to have a remote SAM on your rig.
