Steve, thanks so very much for your reply. You make some very good points
that should prove helpful. BTW, we started with the latest SamPHPweb pages
for the MS SQL project that were downloaded "fresh" from SpacialAudio's
website. The webpages for the local server which uses MySQL has been
running for more than two years.

The MS SQL is running on the same remote server that the SAM4 is running on,
but the webpages for SamPHPweb are on a separate machine, so we will make
certain that the outgoing and incoming connections will be open. It would
be helpful if the examples on the forums were updated so that we would be
looking at something more recent than SAM2 examples.

Of course, having heard how many thousands of dollars for each website the
company intends to charge to set-up the SamPHPweb pages I'm fairly certain
that too much help would only drive down income potential if the forum
proved to be too helpful. Kind of like Louis explained, "tossing a fish"
rather than expecting the customers to "learn to fish" or buy their fish at
the fish market. if they expected to eat every day. <smile>

Thanks, again, for the help, Steve. Your willingness to share pearls of
wisdom brings back memories of the sharing days when SAM2 was the current
product, and the BurningRealms we used to attend.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Loran
