[1], it's more about a TLP than a "sub project": notice the RESOLVED parts Do we really need to submit a board resolution to move a codebase to Attic, while the PMC is still remaining?
"project" term is really confusing: sometimes it's a TLP, ie a PMC, sometimes it's a "sub" project, ie a codebase. >From the existing Attic site, Jakarta has both PMC/TLP and some sub projects in the Attic. Another case: XML TLP has been retired, which is not directly visible in Attic, but Attic displays Crimson and Xindice XML sub projects.
