Attic work on marking everything in the Attic has been done, but infrastructure has not been cleaned up yet https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-27574
as you can see, I asked for not cleaning up your infra for now: if you think you can do a normal vote for a normal release (even if the PMC is officially disbanded, but Shane does not see an objection that the binding votes from the PMC are still binding), you can do a normal final release Please tell us if you want to do an official release or not, so Attic can update our ask to infra on cleaning up the project assets (switch everything R/O, delete CI, ...) if you decide NOT to do an official release, because it's too late Attic can point project retirement data to "related project". Like for example: https://attic.apache.org/projects/cocoon.html Just tell us your choices, and Attic can adapt :) Best Regards, Hervé, from the Attic team Le jeudi 22 janvier 2026, 19:37:38 CET Shane Curcuru a écrit : > (Note mixed private/public lists) > > Dear Attic: Olingo might have enough people to finalize their last > release now - which is sadly after the board officially relegated Olingo > to the Attic in the December meeting. > > If mibo and others can indeed roll a final release, do we have any way > to either put that on the attic site, or point to some external release > made by past community members? > > This is one of those unfortunate timing issues. > > mibo wrote on 1/21/26 16:00: > > Hi Shane and all reading here, > > > > Sorry for my late reply, but I had some serious private issues that > > resulted in slow response time and not enough time in the last half year > > to drive the Olingo project (this shouldn't be an excuse, but an > > explanation). > > Unfortunately, there were also no other PMCs left, which made my part > > not easier. > > Please don't worry; you don't need an excuse.
