I'm not sure where it's bundled.  It wasn't in Red Hat's rpm, but it may
be in the source package, which I haven't installed.  Man, I hear
stories about these machines with enormous /usr/local's and all these
conf files and binaries everywhere and paragraphs of $PATH.  Never seen
one in the wild, though.  At any rate...
http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/samba/ has links to the online book in
both html and pdf formats, including downloadable zips of the entire
book.  If you've got bandwidth, time, toner and paper, it's there. :-)
