And to be honest, I've found that if you want to read something for 30 minutes and have the meat of it the For Dummies books are actually useful. (Well, I have limited experience with those, but from the two I've read I had enough information to get rolling. The first was on MS Access [I had no clue about VB for Access until then], and I think the other was about Crystal Reports.)
