Yes, I have problems reading complicated texts that include things like, "Latest Major Action: 10/26/2001 Became Public Law No: 107-56." Apparently, this statement confused me. For some reason I had it in my head that it was last Friday, not the Friday before last.
I wonder how difficult it would be to get a Representative or Senator to talk to us about this? When there was a stir about one of these actually getting passed I called all three, Breaux, Landreui, and Baker, and nobody had an official stand. And I called multiple times. Never a statement one way or the other. That kind of lack of information from my elected officials is annoying, to say the least.
