I imagine elected representatives are still rushing
around trying to figure out the best face to put on
for the public. They are all reluctant to make a
public statement because it will stick with them for a
long time, and this kind of legislation has huge
implications and future reprecussions.

I'd love to have LA computer user and technology
groups meet together or via teleconferencing to hear
what our reps have to say on this. I'll bet that we
could get one or more interested if local groups all
request it together.
