Of course. Religious belief is one of the most personal components of our living experience, as well the source of much misunderstanding and conflict in the world. Discussions concerning religious beliefs should be handled with consideration for other's beliefs and perspectives, as it is intimately personal to some (maybe all). But, constructive dialog is possible between any two parties, IMHO. I've had very constructive and positive discussions with devout religious people from many different cultures and beliefs who would have been surprised, maybe even shocked, to know what my own personal beliefs are. My attitude when approaching someone who believes very differently from what I believe is to try and identify with their perspective. But the flip side is that I try to annoy the hell out of others who believe pretty much the same things I do. :) John Hebert __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
