I thought I'd share a good experience. I use Quicken to keep track of my finances and usually run it under VMWare. Unfortunately, this is a bit tedious since I have to boot Windows under Linux, and to be honest, in general it's just a pain. So this weekend I downloaded WINE, installed Quicken 2001 on my Windows drive, booted into Linux, and ran: $ wine qw.exe And guess what? It worked. Even the sound worked! I have found that the network functionality doesn't work for Quicken 2001 (which is a pain if you track your portfolio with Quicken), but hell, it works good enough for me. Regards, Dustin
